White River Event in April changed to a Arkansas Earth Day 500:

AED 500 Page : AR ADV Rider Event Schedule 2011 - AED 500

I have made an executive decision on the April Camping Event that was listed as White River State Park in Mountain Home. The reason for this is that Scotty69 was planning a camping event for his buddies, clients, etc. and wanted to invite the AR ADV folks as well. He asked if I would include it in the Camping Event Schedule. I agreed and after thinking about it I thought that having two events would just hurt the attendance in both so I am substituting his event for the April event that was scheduled. The format for this event is as follows:

* Ride starts at Turpentine Creek-Scotty69's place on Hwy 23 a couple of miles south of Eureka Springs, and goes to Buffalo Pt. Campgrounds near Flippin on the Buffalo River where we will set up camp. Meeting at 9:00 am at Turpentine Creek Friday morning, April 15.
* Saturday's ride is from Buffalo Pt. to Haw Creek Falls Campgrounds or Long Pool Recreation Area to camp depending on who wants to camp primitive and who wants showers, elec, water, etc.
* Sunday's ride is from Haw Creek Falls back to Turpentine Creek or back home whichever you prefer.

Routes have been made for the first two legs but still need to be ridden and verified. I hope that this is not too much of an inconvenience to anyone. I wanted to let everyone know ASAP so you knew what was going on and make plans accordingly. It should be a good time and I hope that everyone will try to make it. I will post routes as soon as we get them ready and I will update the Camping Event Schedule as well. So long for now.

Sounds like a good idea Tim however, I had to update my status. I may have a conflict in that an old friend may be visiting that weekend. I won't know until later.

Yeah Charlie, there are the cabins and just a couple miles away is a motel here. More in the card game is better and he can hang with me while you are out riding Saturday.

Yes it was Terra or Doc telling us it got moved to Mt Magazine......

The one in June was originally at Nebo but that being so close to Petit Jean, the big "O" moved it. IIRC...
