The Bicycle Thieves - may raise your IQ and keep you emerged, if you are in the mood for a glimpse of the past. It worked for me

The Divide - asked more questions than it answers - post apocalypse claustrophobic drama - hard hitting in more ways than one

Why is this thread in Shiny Things, instead of Inmates along with "What are you reading"?

No wonder I can never find it...

Do UK & US Netflix differ?

Highly recommend The Larry Sanders show. It's even better if you lived through the 90s, but still solid.

Twisted, Violent, and a sadly accurate account of today's pop culture.

It starts slow and ends the only way it can.

Just watched this last night. Fairly enjoyable but seemed lacking in something overall. Not really sure what. It always seemed like it was right on the verge of taking off -- and then didn't. A bit of let down IMHO, but I gave it three stars.

French crime series, "Spiral" is simply amazing. Lots of action, and yet real drama and stories. Almost everyone is dirty in one form or another, including most members of the police, prosecutors, judges, lawyers, other public officials, and the general public.

Be prepared for gory corpses, gun violence, and mild police torture. Four seasons available, only on Netflix since Sept.

Really good series, highly recommended.
