I just ordered a rear BB from Dennis Kirk. $107 shipped.
We'll see how she does. I got 4K on the TKC and feel lucky. Not much left, but I'm going to get all of my $$ worth. MIGHT get another 1K, but it'll be thin at that point if it makes it.

Mark, are the knobs deeper on the Kendas than the TKCs?

Never had TKC's. They do look aggressive though. Question will be, how long will they last. I'll post back after a thousand of so.

Got mine installed a week or so ago. I've put on about 600k with 30-40% being offroad.
So far all I can say is I'm very happy with them. Lots of traction on pavement or dirt.
Time will tell if they last more than 3000k

Here's hoping.

Going to try to get a pair of these big blocks for 200-250 at my local kenda dealer (I'm in aus). Hopefully get em. Going on a trail ride soon so I need to get the DR650 dirt worthy, the stock trailwings just slip and slide. The DR650 being a much lighter bike than your BMW's and only cranking out 35hp at the back wheel without mods, should get a decent amount of kilometers out of them.

I didn't push them much (I don't do that in the rain) but I did ride some twisty roads and slab this weekend in wet conditions and they felt just fine. I was a bit nervous about them but they didn't go slippy at all.

Well my rear 150 BB came in today. These sure look big sitting alone.
And I didn't realize that they were 'run-flats'. Holy cow what a stiff carcass.
Gonna be a job getting this mounted up.

Here it is next to a 4000+ mile TKC.

After doing a couple on the No-Mar. I can do one in 5-10 minutes. The front actually takes longer. I think the key is just locking it down when you push the last spoon over. If you have a buddy hold the other side down it would go easier on a regular tire stand or milk crate.

No just a unjustifiable hobby.
