Really glad you guys like the videos.. Was fun to make, in spite of the technical difficulties. I'll hopefully get more interesting footage next race.

Also really glad you like the swag. Cant wait to pick some up, myself.

Looks like Rally West Virginia is the next rallymoto I can make, in August. I might sortof consider Tennessee, I got some folks trying to talk me into a tarmac rally. Could be kinda fun. Wonder if there's any local motocross stuff I can waddle into?

Screw that! Let's make a road trip out of it. We can stealth camp and spend the money we save on beer.

4 Tiny Glitches

Ripped into the cow today. Only to discover (4) $1.22 US gasket seals missing from the $1500.00 hi-comp cylinder/piston kit...

well what with all the cleaning necessary, I suppose it would have taken the same amount of time.

Rationalization.

WOW, THANKS! I'm honored. There are lots of great threads in Old School, alone, let alone the rest of this great board.

Think I got all the popsicle sticks coming together, and hopefully will have lots of gorey pics later this evening.

Jason, this thread is awesomely motivational!

I own this bike:

It's journeys have been well documented on this site by the previous owner, Ron. I had it at a local shop to be sold but have been reconsidering that in the last couple weeks. Your thread just put me back over the top....I'm going to keep it....and someday race it.

I figured that having no mechanical experience and one full day riding hard packed gravel trails should fully qualify to go into a race that is well beyond my skill level.

In fact, I think my only qualification is that I'm not afraid to take a tumble.

But I won't feel right wearing my new Airhead Rallye Team shirt if I don't earn it in the dirt!

Thanks for the inspiration.

Cord
