Been busy... unfortunately not doing bike things...

but I finally got to changing tires today, to fresh knobbies. What a continuous PITA.

Trying to warm them up to a temp that wont make your tongue stick to the rim, if you were so inclined to try that.
Thats our very own DAnEdg, considering a tie chagne hisself, but not after looking at the big screwdrivers I was using after forgetting my spoons at home :lol1

Got these in the mail over the last two or three days:

SO from this:

To this:

Through the intermediate step:

And that looks like a lot of room for some stuff, but what I need right now is a bunch of foam to take up that space, and keep the battery from rattling around.

Leaving on Thursday AM.

Good luck, J! Race hard, be safe. Looking forward to hearing the stories.

I just scored a '91 R100R barn find, so I'll be building up an HPN bike over the next year or so. Gotta strip the bike, catalog everything, then have Bobby get the frame off to Germany for the full treatment.

All with a view to joining your airhead race team...

I hate it but I'm going to have to back out. 100% chance of rain pretty much all the way there. And I'd be sleeping in the woods. I know, I'm a wimp.

Good luck, man! Give 'em hell!
