My DR350 seat just showed up yesterday. Looks great!

Can anyone suggest a way to clean the mold release agent from the foam? It is just about dripping with the stuff. I was thinking of just dishwashing detergent and water and assuming the seat is closed cell foam and will not become waterlogged.

I used windex. Let it sit for a minute then wiped it off with a wet towel. It took a few hours to completely dry.

Bump from another sore-assed dr650 owner.

Subscibed in case a dr group buy might pop up sometime soon.

Got it on today along with my new IMS tank. I had one very small wrinkle I couldn't work out but I'm sure a pro could have. It wasn't a hard install at all really. I think the wrinkle was because the oversized tank put extra arc in the seat pan. A few warm days should take care of it. Oh and I LOVE the gripper top. Keeps you planted on the longer highway runs without sliding back and fighting the wind blast. BIG Big thumbs up! I thought the firm foam might be too much at first but after a good hour ride today she's perfect! Very comfortable.

Thanks again for all of this!

Installed my seat this weekend. I was able to work all of the wrinkles out of mine, but I have a stock tank so it may try to wrinkle when I upgrade to an IMS tank. I went for 1hr ride after the install...not terribly long, but long enough to realize my butt didn't hurt. I also took it for a quick off-road trip and thanks to taper in seat width as it gets closer to the tank, I didn't notice any difference when standing on the pegs between the stock seat and SC seat. Thanks for a great product!

Nice. Yeah my seat was a bit on the cold side. I wanted to go riding so I may have rushed it just a wee bit. She's no beauty queen so it happens.

So, what's the count on the WR450 seats? Still at 4?

Final product - DR350 Comfort seat (asked for tall but I think there's only one option for the DR), carbon/non-slip:

I am very pleased with the look. Have to put in an hour or two of continuous ass time before I can fully assess the scale of comfort improvement.
