RCU shelf for R12GS?
Is anyone using one? Just wondered how sturdy it would be over bumps etc.

RCU Shelf on a 1200GS
David,
I received an RCU shelf for Christmas and this shelf is rock solid.... it is much more substantial in construction than the RCU I had on my RT and I am quite happy with it. It does sit a little high over the cockpit but it puts my valentine in a good position without obstructing my view of the road. Regards, Joel Quote:

Thanks Joel, that's what I was hoping to hear. Does the shelf interfere with the ability to adjust the windscreen?

The shelf is adjustable (forwards and backwards) so you can set it up to based on your windscreen. I currently have a Cee Bailey screen and have the shelf adjusted so that there is about 1/4 inch space between the shelf and the windscreen with the screen set back as far as it will go. Regards, Joel

God to hear as I'm also running a CB screen. I think the shelf should work out well for me so I went ahead and ordered one. Thanks for your input.
