Moto show in Maryland...

I'm trying to find out about this here show in Maryland... Timonium

At first glance it sounds like a chopper fest.. but they say every type of motorcycle will be represented... Plus the vintage bikes would be a nice draw.

So here's the rub, I wasn't impressed with the International Motorcycle show in DC last year.. So I'm looking for something perhaps a little better.. Does anyone have any experience with this "Mid-Atlantic International Motorcycle show"?

Just want to know if it's a chopper fest, or perhaps a good alternative to the other international motorcycle shows..

Thanks..

For what it's worth, Bob's BMW said they'd be represented at Timonium. I think it was Timonium. They have a few custom BMWs that they made.

Half chopperfest half euro and vintage. Good show, I will go back this year. Much better than the DC shit. They even had the tank bike (styer-puch?) from saving private ryan.

It's DC plus a shit load of custom's. Lots of choppers. Two years ago when they were in Baltimore at the convention center, they had a nice brit bike display in the lobby- but it's pretty much a leatherfest. Come to Fado and meet some ADVers- we're meeting saturday at 11:30- then on to the DC show down the street. Check the EAST Forum for further details.

The one last year was better. Drinking at Fado's will more than make up for the DC show.

I am sure I'll be corrected if I am wrong, but the DC show is more a manufacturer's show and the Timonium show is a dealer show. The BMW both at DC will be staffed by NA, Bob's and probably some Morton's folks (it was last year). The Timonium show will just have Bob's as the BMW rep.

I am looking forward to meeting you people on Saturday at Fado.
