Looks like the adventure starts now. I am getting weather alert texts. It's raining and only 813 mikes to go. If I don't make it today, I will end up sitting in a hotel for a few days.

It's pouring. But looks like I will be ahead of the storm within an hour.

Just bought a ticket on i77 in Virginia. It's wet and cold. I guess it's time for lunch.

28 and clear in mechanicsburg right now. i'm guessing you are coming up 81...if so, watch those freakin' winds from fancy gap up to the maryland border. worst part of riding to daytona every year is that stretch, esp as the sun starts to go down.

I just got off the phone with Dennis and he needs some company. He's afraid of falling asleep on the road...BTDT. He's taking a break when he gets to Winchester so if you have his number, give him a call, he'd appreciate it.

Home!!!! A nice 800 mile day. I am not sure why I kept dozing off. Hopefully I was just tired. I will write more after some proper family time.

Isn't 10 minutes of "family time" enough?

Back to Wilkes Barre - my home town! Making trips back there I used to dread that I77 stretch though. I've been pulled over there more than once and it was always in the rain....

Glad to see that you made it home safe and sound! Too bad that you didn't get to take the bike out on the track day. However, something tells me that you may have that opportunity come up again at some point in the future.

I ride the track quite a bit. Missign a track day is not a big deal.

Anyhow. I made it home last night. The last few hours were in the teens and I was in snow. 825 plus miles in just under 15 hours. I should of just done the the other 175 miles and did an Iron Butt, but I did not think of it last night. I am trying to edit up some pictures and throw a video together to end this report. But its not working put too well.
