Preston Forest is the development on Brush Mountain near 460. That mud puddle isn't too slick, the bottom is hard packed and rocky.

I had a few dogs from Steve's, but I am more of a donut and pizza guy. I loved those fresh donuts from that place downtown and I ate a lot of 4 Star pizza. I think the donut shop is closed now.

I'll have to get back up there this spring on the Uly. Anybody riding motos or bicycles near Price Mountain or Poverty Creek? We spent alot of time at the bottom of Price Mountain crossing the creeks and then climbing the trails up to the radio towers.

Damn great memories! - wish I rode and knew you guys back then, or maybe I did? Was at VT '84-91, school then work. Did take my 4Runner and '68 Camaro conv't up Brush Mtn and others, WTF was I thinking taking a classic camaro on those rough dirt roads? I lived above Super X for a while then over behind the tennis courts, Bentwood. Was also a DU, so maybe you came to one of our parties? Don't recognize this place in the photo, where is it? Conquering the West looks like it was an awsome trip.
I ride all over VA/WV now, wish I was out west a times. Cheers to you all

The Cheesy Riders

I need to dig up some old pictures and get them scanned.

It was college park...

That is where the picture was taken. Near the front entrance.

Go Hokies!

I used to ride my buddy's Harley on occasion. This was loooong after you guys though.... 1997ish I can remember dropping it on the side of the road after a rain. Fixed it and started building muscle cars. Route 8 at the back of Christiansburg heading towards Martinsville was a fun road!

I can remember having an apartment at Terrace View! Wow...memories!
