It will not work on the front axle of R1100 or R1150 generation bikes. You need a box-end wrench or a socket (17mm IIRC but it could be bigger) for that.

I'll try it to see. I know the wheel tool won't work because the 1150rt doesn't need a special tool. I am hoping that the spark plug removal will work for both. I'll give it a shot and post back what I find out. Thanks.

Can't wait...I need a new tire
Just ordered one so I can get my wheel off! Need a new tire and I don't want to pay someone to do something I can do. Plug cap tool is a bonus.
Make it happen Promach! Thx. |

Ordered one on the 5 May, shipped on 6 May. Can't wait to receive it and pull the front tire. Another key piece for the tool box and when on the road.

D2d
Anyone going to the D2D, get together next month, can pick up a Dual Tool then and save the shipping.

Now that's what I like !!
I am always on the look out for the best tools that I can use when I travel. I don't think I will top this one for it's compact size, light weight and being it is two tools in one, I love it!!
And on top of that, it looks cool. What more could I ask for?

Spark plug cap tool
Just wanted to make it clear, that on the spark plug cap tool, you don't have to use a screwdriver to remove the cap. As shown in our You Tube video. I like to use it because, sometimes, they stick and the screwdriver gives you a little more control.
Also, thanks for all the sales, interest, possitive feedback and bumps we've gotten on this tool. Promach 1 Promach 1 screwed with this post 06-12-2011 at 11:02 PM |

Have a good ride
Hey Promach 1,
Have a great trip up north, hope to see you out there sometime. Maybe I'll make the D2D next year. Used your tool yesterday when I adjusted my valves. Puts a smile on my face. That thing is cool. Wish I would have thought of it. Later, Around da world man |
