Rode a little Enduro yesterday

Rode the Prospectors MC Gold Rush Enduro yesterday. It was a little chilly...

(not my footage) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15FRS...ature=youtu.be

Conditions were so bad they shorten the course to only a little over three miles, you rode it once, took a 90 minute break and rode it again, scored as a special the whole way.

Short race, but it was all a lot of people could do just to go three miles. Started snowing at 6PM Saturday and never stopped until the race was over.

looks like fun...nice wide open tracks...a little chilly perhaps. What was the surface like? is that sand mixed with snow or is it mud?

It started on the vintage bike track and went about a half a mile before it got into the tight stuff. The soil is real sandy, but with that much moisture it just turned to soup. There is another video out there that shows bikes standing up by themselves in the ruts with riders looking on helplessly.
