No I don't like the 17" It would make the rear lower and less choice in off road tires.( i have all the fd ratio's) it's an easy swap.

![]() But i'm not really happy with the length of the hoses. As the moisture tends to condensate in the hose and leaks back into the FD ! Because there is no airflow through the hose it will keep doing that. I'm thinking about making a double hose with one going into the air box to get some air flow. People told me to drain the hose more often. But its dripping every time I take it off. If I would like to do that much maintenance I would have bought a bike with a chain

I've routed my hose "south" of the fd as to collect the condensation and keep it from re-entering the system. I only run the clear hose for that very reason!

And you're right ... and now I'm thinking about some white fenders. It's been a steady rain here for 48 hours. I can't really even ride it ... I'd be out there in a heartbeat if it were July. This cold stuff ain't fun. Sign. Brown? ![]()

Christmas present?
At least ... yours turns solid for a while. For Dec-Jan, it will remain 30-50F, overcast and wet. There will be brief moments of sun and interlude ... They will serve to remind us of the coming spring.

A quick update ... I do like blingy parts ... and one thing that has always bothered me was the fact that I couldn't tell the level of the oil in my transmission. NO MORE. I got two .. one for the Dobber, a one for BB. Call it a late Christmas Present.

It should. They had two listed ... My experience is with '76 to 94 transmissions, and it's been my experience that this plug is the same for all of those.
Stage is correct though ... you will be needing to carry the 'new' wrench in your tools to get it off ... I will see when I get home what size it is. From memory, it looked to be a 19 or a 22mm, and that would be included in the standard tool kit ... but I will confirm. EDIT: It's a 22mm, same size as the nut on the twinshock rear axel bolt. http://www.wunderlichamerica.com/mot...S/7475039.html
