It's the cruise control brackets we've all been waiting for!

The fool in me -- and that's all there is! -- says that prototype bodywork is subject to change.

Companies have been known to purposely deceive because of the possibility of "spy" photos.

That thing's as big as a trolling boat even without it's tank cover. It looks like it' destined to be weightier and more top heavy than the current model. There're only so many places to put the new hardware.

Also, the final drive (based on the very little you can see) doesn't look radically different. Maybe the design just needed tweaking.

And, why did they reverse the engine direction? I usually put my right foot down at stop and when revving the engine the bike goes to the right. If I were to do that on the new bike I would be falling over. That can't be safe!

Now that I got my gripes out of the way, I can go back to being secretly jealous of you folks getting them. I'll just have to stick with my 2011GS.

-Love to know why they put shaft on other side (cross platform mfg simplicity?)
-Should drive like existing GS with Multistrada power.

My 2 cents. g-

Agree, this won't make the existing GS look old but the upgrades look pretty good to me.
I like the added legroom, I kind of got used to it but the intake in its current location is definitely something
I won't miss...

As for the shaft on the left side, they are probably just using the shaft components from the later model k1300s and k1600gt/gtl, which have them on the left. Maybe a slightly newer design and hopefully stronger.
