Damned shame, losing a hard hitting mc journalist like Kevin Ash.

I think his thorough and positive test of the revamped 2011+ Guzzi Norge, helped a close friend in choosing a white 2012 Norge, for his return to motorcycling.

Very sad indeed...I had been looking forward to reading this thoughts on the new GS. Perhaps this explains the radio silence from the event. Just terrible news. Here is his website for those that are interested: http://ashonbikes.com/

So I decided to take a drive to Oubaai Golf resort here in South Africa today and arrived there while they were setting up for the Press Release tonight, all of the brand new F1200GS still had their German numberplates.

Interesting, all demo bikes with spoke wheels and all static displays with cast. Looks best in white, IMHO.

The blue one has cast wheels. US bikes have always had cast, with the spoked wheels being a $500 option. different countries may well have different spec sheets
