I have bought a new bike on a couple of occasions without forwarning my wife...as in was talking new bike but just didn't say when..comment was along the lines of "your bike looks different-did you add something to it?"

lucky people... I don't think I could get away so easily

(plus she gets reports on bank balance - although I do the management - she likes to keep them)

As I recall the couple of times I picked up a new bike without fornotice...I had already gotten the tentative nod "whatever makes you happy"(what a woman)...and the new bike shows up in the garage...you know the LC in blue is similar to the one I have now...hmmm

My fav one from a guy I know: Honey I would like a bike / dog / ... (he used it a lot of times. His wife replies: are you crazy? And after 30 min his wife gives in, he goes outside and puts the new toy inside he allready bought before asking his wife.

I am single, no such problems.

My gf rides too, so the only discussion when I announced that I want to order one was 'its not fair, why do you get to ride 1200GS while I have a weestrom ! I waaant onee toooo!' She's the best :)

The white one is mine, the Lady bike, with the lower seat. The thundergrey one has the regular seat.
