Was able to talk to some engineers by now.
No marekting-blabla involved, they told me, the motor will be very reliable, cause it won't get out with it's full reachable power. But, although some people tell otherwise, it will get heavier!

Also saw the revised 1000RR and 800GS.

Still thinking about how to proof all this is true, but still no idea.

heavier? how much heavier?

New boxer will have new clocks/instruments and handlebar multicontroller, no? And cruise control.

yeah, there will be new controls. Very similar to the 1600gt, or 1000rr controls.
The very comfy turnsignal-buttons will be gone
