Enduro-Pro Plug

Guys: How long before the Russians get access to the plug source code and start flooding the market with generic plugs and how about the 'hp-max' plug?
Do I see things completely wrong?

Russians not Chinese?

Anyway I doubt that plag is anything more than an ID and MAYBE just maybe a low capacity memory chip (to hold your Enduro Pro defaults).
I doubt it stores engine mapping or anything like that.

BMW would first need to "flood the market" with bikes, and from the looks of things.....I don't know....

I think you are in the wrong decade. I would recommend to bash the Chinese for this area of expertise ! Russians don't make any vehicles, spares or any other (serious) technological products, except for optics and rockets. But those Chinese are a totally different story..........

I ordered it as it will finish the look of the Thunder Grey. Along with the Akro

This never happened in the past, why would it happen now.
BMW is not Apple.

I never said they'd have a problem selling them (over time), but that's just not the way modern distribution systems work, unless of course that dealer has hundreds of GS' in stock. Distribution centers hold stock and dealers order and receive what they need in two days.

Depends on the dealer and their capacity and the deal they managed to make I guess.
I am sure they know their business better than us.

Personally (which means nothing to the forum hehehe) I also feel that the fork diameter reduction was a fault (esp. since the bike actually gained weight and CoG was moved a bit in front).
Of course my "feeling" means null (and should mean null) to expert mechanics in BMW. Yet, there are (strong?) indications that this part needed more thought.

One of the things that makes me happy I won't be in the first wave at all (we all make excuses ).

So candidates for first facelift:
- Thicker tubes (again).
- Color LCD HUD.
- More work for the GPS wheel (stop being just GPS wheel).
- +5 HP (because they actually tune it in carrot-donkey fashion, it is all a mapping thing now).
- ...add your own.
Variable Valve Timing!

Ever since that tragic event, there's has been too much Fear Uncertainty and Doubt about the new GS. The 2013 Triumph Trophy has also seen a recall before it reached the hands of any customer, and nobody seemed bothered by it.
