Germans are not that smart and BMW is not APPLE
Adventure: Of course there will be an adventure
Electric screen: Well, something new needed to be added...

No matter what i say, some won't believe me.

But I'm not a marketing dude. In fact i HATE marketing guys. Good products shouldn't even need marketing. In my opinion marketing is just a way to talk a bad product into something extraordenary good.

So, think of me how, and what you want, I'm going outside to ride.

you sound like every friggin' client i have. that's because you have no clue what marketing is. i don't like you either.

pssst: marketing is:

Product - what features do customers want?
Price - how much will customers pay?
Place - how do we distribute to the point of sale?
Promotion - how do we differentiate the product?

iow, if it's a good product that sells well, thank your marketing guys.

I would like to see some of the wasted/empty cowl spaces used for storage. At least one lockable.

More than that I "hope" they have found a way to make the Water Head lighter>

I know that is not likely as the radiator, water pump, fan etc all add weight...but still the Germans are engineering geniuses right...light it better.

After having ridden R ..Rt bikes for 30 years...and feel that they have gotten too big..to tall, I bought a F650GS twin...nice and light and of the right scale....just like the old R bikes. But and it is a big but...the paralever/duolever suspension has NO equal. So I will buy a new GS...not the GSA...maybe with low suspension..but I like the ESA feature.
Now do i wait for the water head or get the mature bug free existing model?

I don't see why guys are busting Das' balls. He says he works for the mothership and can't talk too freely about a new product or risk losing his job. Makes sense to me.

I had dealings with an American car company through my work years ago that involved products under development. They were really paranoid about industrial spying and leaks of information, so nothing different here with what Das' is say'n.

thank you kawidad

One least thing I'm willing to share is:
It definetly won't get lighter. I myself don't know how much heavier it's going to be, but my special friend told me, it will get heavier noticeably.
You won't feel the added weight while riding, but in case you have to lift it up, you will.

cheers.

Don't make it a gaw-dam RT. Dirt worthy is important.

I don't want no big screen, no electric screen, no cruise, no bucket seat.

I do want more 30 more horses, 2 maps, a bit less weight.

Ok I'll let up. Sorry.

Can you ask the engineers if they can fit an altimeter into the display?

Whatever they build, I'd really like to build it out a la carte, like you can a MINI. Yea or nay on things like Nav, ESA, OBC, TPMS, cruise, light packages, bags and mounts. We're not going to get the choice on ABS anymore. I'd say yes, but I can understand those who don't want it or want to save the cash.

I certainly hope the new ESA is more sophisticated than the current version. Ducati has shown how it can be done.

I expect engine modes like the K16 an S1000 have, because transplanting that technology should be easy.

I hope that they make FD servicing easier. (ie: oil fill without removing the rear wheel).

I'm sure the wait will continue to be interesting and tantalizing.

The common use and style.

If you ride a Horse you have saddle it has a form like a russel seat.
why does it have a form so you stay in place in the slide left to right and up and down.
They are easy to stand up on and comfy to sit on.

The bench seat was made for moto-cross at first so you could bail out in the back when you are flipping.
I Just cant see my self bail out on a full dresser Bmw with panniers and i cant see the senario either.

Steel horse or Horse i want a saddle asap.

And we all have had the front bumper syndrome thats known with the bench it hurts. The pillar needs to be protected better as well.
