Ok, I parlayed my '85 klr into and '86 K75C...
![]() I've been searching, but not locating, how to set the dash clock... I've found about everything else, even how to make it a 24 hour clock, but no setting instructions. Help!

I've always just used the tip of the ignition key to set the clock.
The pencil thing only works if you buy the "Special Tool - Clocking Setting Device" from the dealer - which is a No. 2 pencil with a roundel on it that costs $10.

I probably way over-achieved on this one, I took a scrap 3" piece of #12 solid electrical wire, stripped back about a inch and blunted the tip with my dremel... ![]() ![]() "Würden die deutschen stolz sein." Sorry all I have is the crappy cell phone pick teaser for now: ![]() Another quick question, if I may, there is a cross member that you may be able to make out in my crappy pic above. It is in front of the clutch lever in this pick and it extends across front of the brake lever? I've been looking for it in my manual, but haven't seen it yet (what a manual for not being a FSM, it's a Clymer, but much better than the one I have for my Suzuki). Also is the cockpit fairing correct for this bike, it doesn't quite match the pics and diagrams in the manual? It has 2 small weird shaped pieces that bolt on to those holes you see on the fairing.

It must be a pretty nice one, because you can't tell it's not factory, compared to the other body pieces. Other than it is a different design from a BMW part.
