just finished my k clean up, bought the bike for 700$, I did the spline lube (although it was not needed) The only thing I really had to fix was the airbox leak. Bike sat for 13 years in a shed in Al. With the chrome 750$, seat,400$ muffler,350$ tires. 200$, Im in the bike for 2500$
My buddys ride scooters around town, I just couldn't be a scooter boy. I had to have something to ride to keep the local miles off the RT. Special thanks to Larry Romestant

Ha! I love that old man seat. I can ride all day in it. The bike is definitely set up for function over form, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

It's an old Honda headlight of unknown origins, with a universal bracket that clamps onto the forks. The BMW headlight wiring uses the standard socket so practically any headlight will work. That bracket has three holes on each side so I've got the windshield, turn signals, and horns all attached to it.
