I will ride my bike to the Netherlands, give you the bike, keys and title, and walk home if you will video tape your wife walking into the bathroom and finding a pair of forks in the sink. Full tank of gas and a battery tender too.

If you have to have a wife to get the bike, Bad, Bad deal.

Tell seantx to keep his bike. You will still have the better end of the deal. Mom & Dad will always love ya!

It's an ex UK Police bike that has now done 140K and never let me down. I've done the last 40K. It's a daily ride in all weathers, I don't own a car.

The biggest job was a clutch replacement about 10K ago. It's one of a batch of bikes the police held back and registered later, mine is on a 92 plate but is 8valve with the 2 piece mudguard and brace and had the abs removed at the polices request I'm lead to believe. If anyone has any further information on this I'd be very interested to hear.
So a few pics of mine, only a few mods but I like it, no I love it!

This is Just finishing a 1000 mile weekend around Wales

Love the polished tank. I will be doing the same soon. What eghaust is that and hows it sound?

What was the point of doing that? After 40 + years of riding, I don't see one. I would never treat my K75 like that and would not encourage anyone else to do it either.

You did the work so send it off for chrome. I sent my oil pan. Valve cover. Waterpump. Timing cover. Both kick plates. Off for triple black chrome. 700$us. Looks damn good. Or you can just paint it and look like most bikes.

I like the thought of chroming but I do want to remain the original look. It's also crazy expensive and since i'm dutch ..

Look at ceramic coating instead of actual chrome. Much less expensive.

And now with clear coat, really happy with the result! Anyone experience with polishing after clear coat?
