Larry Romestant of Specialks.net has begun customizing this beautiful (Bucket list) BMW K75 on my behalf. Larry rebuilds motorcycles to run better than new. All mechanical improvements, too many to list, have been completed. Most of the future upgrades will be improvements in handling and cosmetic. The bike is currently in perfect custom condition with a motor with 25k prior to original rebuild.

Beautiful machine. The modern paint and saddle (amongst others) really make thing look classy.

Gotta join in here. Here is my 1988 S that was repainted silver by PO. I sold it back in 2007 and like everyone else, wish I had it back. I don't think it has been loved since it left my stable.

I hated selling my K. I had just finished refurbishing her when my wife became ill and my business was in the toilet. The only thing that gave me comfort besided my wife surviving her illness was getting on that bike. It's hard to explain.
Now that she is well (thank god) and business has improved I am drawn to the K once more. I regret selling all my bikes but none more then the K75c.

How well did that Laminar Lip work for you? My K75F originally had a the small K100 fairing but there was too much chest blast on the freeway so I swapped in a C fairing instead.

    Hey Duck,
Nice to hear from you. I found the LIP to be a huge improvement. There are also removeable windshield spoilers (wings) That may be a consideration. I have one on my Versys shield. You are welcome to try it out. The Laminar lip will cost slightly less. Is that a Russell seat on your K ?

Yeah I might pick up a Laminar Lip for that bike. I had one on a K100RS4V I built. It worked OK and I thought it was fugly. Would never consider putting one on my K1100RS.

That seat is by Rick Mayer. http://www.rickmayercycle.com/

Scored it on Fleabay in virtually brand new condition. About as comfy as a Russell but without the full on tractor seat look.

I think the story on this beautiful K is Larry built it for his Church Pastor. I don't see my Rabbi cruising on or in anything nearly as cool as this. But I like him alot because he plays the Greatful Dead, Zepplin and Pink Floyd on a guitar during silent prayer ( softly of course). Very nice motorcycle.

The K1100 brakes and forks are definitely worth it. You'll be very pleased with that setup.
