We stopped at Road Runner in New River for some burgers and fries on the way back to Phoenix.

Just under 45 miles for the day. We did all the blue. I've done the red in the past. The 1 mile of magenta is still uncharted!

I like your chose of the word road. If you keep picking these type of routes your going to need a Trials Bike.

Whew! That's some intense stuff there. No thank you. Thanks for the videos, they were great. It'd be neat to watch somebody riding in front of you on the videos.
You guys are nuts! Too bad you didn't get to finish the loop. Do you still have that goal or has the road finally gotten bad enough that it's not worth it anymore?

We were so so close to making the summit of that pass. I think we would have had it made if we got past that last obstacle. My confidence was running high up that point because we had already conquered 5 or so seemingly impossible hills. And yet I had dozens of excuses to quit and turn back. There was lots of whining

and I'm sure NS and Slowred were tired of hearing it.. and ONE serious thing I learned was no more midnight Filberto's runs the night before ride..

easy parts over after you pass thru these gates.

Few of the ride back.. it was getting to be after 1pm or so and talk of burger's came up and we were gone..

Thanks for another great ride, and letting me tag along! I don't recall any whining from you Goner. Maybe that was because of all my moaning from picking up my bike for the umpteenth time!
