New Zealand-South Island
Ok, after seeing Sideways pictures of NZ, here are some pictures of my 2 week tour of the south island of NZ. Kate and I put on almost 3K miles riding 2 up on a 1150GS. Here we are east of Christchurch the first day while getting used to riding on the left side of the road. ![]() Just north of Dunedin on the east coast ![]() Kate and the GS by Lake Pukaki with Mt. Cook in the background. ![]() The road to Dunedin ![]() Mt. Gorgeous photos.
My wife and I are thinking about doing the same trip. Which group did you go with? Were you happy with them? Thanks.

We did a Beach tour and they were great. They use Te Waipounamu Motorcycle rentals out of Christchurch where you could rent a bike and do a tour on your own. At the time I only had 2 weeks vacation, but to make it worth while you really need to take 3 weeks or more. |

I went with these guys, and one of their 20 day semi guided tours, and was very happy: http://www.nzbikes.co.nz/
