tyres are Heidenau brand.

my Jawa had K 37 for front



and K 41 for rear


they came from Austria.

likely far east - just set out , direction Altay Mountains, as long as time permits

though I hope I will be able ($$$) to visit the Malian part of the family this summer - we have a Linfan step through there and I could tour around that part of West Africa a bit

I've been to the bike fair in Istanbul on the weekend and they will start selling heated gear in Turkey next year; just wonder it ti's good



I'll post a link in "Shiny things", though this time I hardly took photos; wasn't new for me and I'm broke anyway - but will post a link to the 2010 fair, too.

I wrote that I want to write a final installment on general and principal things concerning the ride and hope I will do so this weekend.

I have a similar route for this year. actually not far east. Georgia, Armania, Iran, Turkmenistan.. I am not a conformist rider but certainly this tour will be in summer. I decided it after I saw your report
