I feel so left out.

I will be getting up early tomorrow morning to work on the bike. We'll see. Susi and I, however, will probably explore around McCubbins and Rock Creek (north and south of Barlow).

Good luck with the bike Mat. I can loan you a big hammer if you need it. Maybe a splitting mall from Jeff will work.

So we are bouncing between

http://advrider.com/forums/showpost....postcount=2565

and

http://advrider.com/forums/showpost....postcount=1697

Where should I be looking for meet up place and time?

I'm IN for sure, just need to know where to find instructions

Sounds like a good maiden voyage for my 'Strom. Just finished off my stock tires and installed some 50/50s.

I forgot about you keeping the 450 here.
Some slack will be forgiven, then.
Now, for slacking off at work....you should be fired.
Then you would have more time to work on your moto

That's me! I've put some slab miles on the V-Strom, but not much on the backroads.

Get ready. It was a bit slimy in spots. What tires did you put on?

Lots of ruts in some areas, but you'll be fine. Between all of us we can pick up anything.

Heidenau K60 Scouts, my first time installing tubeless tires.

I also installed crash bars and a skid plate.

We'll help you *break* it in on the dirt, then....
Just kidding...it's always "one for all & all for one" with all ADVers that I've ridden with.

Riding with Apple Jam and Asrvivor you'll need those crash bars and skid plate....but be prepared for some great riding. FWIW I'd leave the plastic panniers at home also.
