A little cooler today but it was not raining.

It was a slow ride today... But it's starting to turn green out there!

Crash is getting fast on the pick-up's, she knows that the camera is coming out and does not want to get caught napping on the side of the road!

Darn straight, you have to also know that she was having a hard time picking her bike up because she was laughing at the same time and I was waiting for her to drop it again!

FS17 (Pinemont) is OPEN !!
Totally clear of snow all the way through to FS44.

Rode the old Shadow through, otherwise I'da checked my favorite route over to Mill Creek

Nice day today.

We'll be up there camping somewhere this weekend.
We were gonna go with our neighbors, but they can't go.
Just wife & I & the dogs in the beater motorhome.

Hey Apple Jam-if you get over near Wamic can you do some scouting for me? I am looking for someplace I can get permission to set up my Tipi for a week in August NOT ON NATIONAL FOREST LAND. Needs to be BLM, State or private; trees, water and/or easy access to the east end of the Barlow Road would be a big plus!

I had you in mind, and will bring proper maps, so I will know what is what.
Location is wifey's call, but I'm hinting more East (warmer, drier),
she's hinting more West (less driving in the gashog noisy beater).

We'll see what we come up with.

I keep thinking about your Thursday group ride, but have yet to make it.
Is this the same group? I'm camping this whole weekend,
but this looks like a good ride for "el guapo nada", and you and he can talk CXs.

or "XB12R" and his GS1200. If he's in The Dalles this weekend,
he'll often meet for coffee Saturday morning at 9am at the Petite Province with a PNWRiders.com group (he's GS1200 on that forum) that is mostly pavement oriented.
Maybe stop by Petite Province at 9am on your way to Big Jim's at 10am?
I'd bet you'd find some riders there.......

Looking at the weather report, and I've only got a couple of guys who don't have other plans, I think we are going to wimp out on the ride this sat.

Hopefully we will be getting into reliably nice weather soon n

I would love to go on a ride sometime JeffinTD...this back and forth weather pattern is maddening! Ah well...Couldn't make it this weekend if it was/is nice - got's to go bang on my drums
