Turkey part - 2

- Silifke -Adana ( adana famous with kebaps you cant skip)
- Adana- Antep ( www.imamcagdas.com "kings of baklava"-Antep has -second large collection in the world- mozaics museum)
- Antep- Urfa-Harran (urfa is city of prophets)
- urfa-kilis (just next to syria because of that we stay there but its a mistake stay in antep better hotel options)

turkey details...

we follow all the way tarmac road with good quality.Alanya-Mersin road and Kalkan-Antalya roads are fantastic.
you can do also "free camping" its safe.
Street food or fancy restaurants are cheap and perfect.A lots of fresh fruit...
Petrol is most expensive in the worldBut good quality.and you dont need to cary extra full.
Syria border can be realy crowded at weekends.

Great stuff. Looking forward to more. Did you guys need visas or carnets for Syria for your Turkish registered bikes? I plan on going there this year.

What is the cost of Petrol per liter now in Turkey?
About Syria do you need visa prior to getting in the border? carnett de pass?

Hi Zakou,

The team are in South Africa now so I'll answer the petrol price for them. 1 litre is 1.8 Euros.
