Definitely an area I'd like to explore again... maybe an overnighter next time.

I got a few more pics..

In these, you can see the 'rugs' in the road

And this was the locked gate at Sibley Mansion

Very nice ride guys, excellent report.

One thing that really amazed me about living in Arizona was just what lenghts people would go to in order to build a home in the middle of nowhere. I can't count the number of times I have ridden down rocky, boulder-filled roads, only to find a gate at the end and discover it was someone's driveway.

The tire(Pirelli) held up well! I had it at 10psi and pumped it up to 23psi for the hwy ride back to the trucks. I've had that tire on for 10 months now(maybe 1000 miles) and I'm amazed how well it's been holding up in general. As of now, it is low on tread, but still working pretty good.

Thanks for putting up more pics jrproper! Great pics too!

I forgot to load new batteries in my GPS before the ride. They surprised me and lasted almost 75 miles! I used my partial track and drew in the rest. Dark purple is the actual ride track of about 75 miles. Light purple is what I drew that follows the rest of our 200 total-mile ride!

The actual Rug Road part of the track starts at about 17.5 miles.

Thanks so much Yardstick for posting a great report of our "three hour cruise". Of course you due realize as a consequence of you posting the picture of me dropping my bike, I will have to hunt you down and kill you.

It was a great day (and night).
