I'll say it again,,

capital B, with a whole string of r's behind it,,!!

call me old,
call me weak,

just don't call me in the morning when the ground is frozen all around (and under) my tent.
not gonna happen.

I might as well try to swim to Japan and jump off the Oregon coast,,doesn't work for me.

Just negative Celsius, maybe....
Not near as bad as negative Farenheit, it just sounds bad.

Nothing that a little spooning at night won't fix

March 21-22, 2009. Have you softened up THAT much in the last 2 years?

Public land means public access! Get involved or get locked out!

well,, that brought a tear to my eye, but that's been pretty easy to do lately.
I'd do the farm in March again no problem. It's quite a bit warmer than the O-choke-o mountains!
Let's do it!

Hey, Raindog!

I thought I found a way to keep everybody warm and dry by renting a forest service cabin but it's rented exactly for the time we want. Oh well, build a big fire and stay warm on one side will have to do.

I wish this weather would make up it's mind, it was 67 and gorgeous today in Prineville according to the webcam, forecast for the weekend however is a high of 25 and a low of 4. We still have 3 weeks so hopefully we can catch a break.

Naked huddling under a wool blanket together to stave off hypothermia?

Looks like all of the Ochoco spots open up mid May. Have a look at Prineville Reservoir.....dryer climate and still has riding access to the Ochoco's and the High Desert(Four Corners)
