Thanks Sarah- we had some more winter here the past couple of days- hopefully we'll see spring soon!

Thanks DC4stroke.

Went out for a ride today- mostly pavement with just a bit of dirt, and no problems- plenty of power- so the tank placement issue is solved. not sure if the low fuel indicator is working, but that is a minor issue that I can probably live with.
Just wish the spring weather would stick- looks like more winter weather for the weekend

I just recieved a prompt, polite, but not-entirely-helpful reply from Happy Trail stating that the SU rack *might* fit on my WRX, and I figured I'd check with you before risking the hassle and $$ of returning them.

Thanks for any advice you can provide,
Steven

Yes on the SU rack and no it did not require any alterations- the frame, rear fender, etc are identical on the X and the R. I believe the only differences between the X and the R are the wheels, gearing, and front brake disk diameter.

Nice setup, Lisa. Very impressive what you've done to it.

Bet you're still enjoying it.......a lot!

Thanks a lot Lisa, just ordered mine. I'll let HT know so they can put it on their site and prevent any other confused morons like myself.
