How'd the Restaurant Do?

I'm always curious to hear how the restaurant handled such a crush of customers, even with advance warning. How'd they do?

I don't know how many people they had working but I thought it went pretty well. In addition to us, what did I say, 45 inmates, they also had numerous tables of non ADVer's. There were still a few empty tables the entire time we were there so I don't think they were overwhelmed.

Come on down for the next RTE.

The lady that waited on me, told us we could come back anytime! I thought they did a very nice job.

I'd say they performed really well, the 1st batch of us in (maybe 30-35 of us) mostly got food say within 20-40 min, the later batch of 15-20 was definitely delayed but was not a major issue. I'd go back there in an instant, great basic "down home" food at a fair price and based on my highly sagacious culinary palate the o-rings were fantabulous

They love the business, our 2nd RTE there, and also loved playing along with the RTE tag when we set it there last April!

Here's an effort at labeling Dan's group picture; some alignment problems, but I think the order is correct:

Bet they want us back, we probably bumped their sales by about $600.
All said, I think they handled the rush well and it was a tasty lunch. I really want another Patty Melt!!!

I believe the guy to my right is JJ (?) and the girl to the left of Amsterdam is Martinique. Not sure if she or Larkin are on the board here.

No, that's me with the glasses on my head. The text doesn't sit exactly over the person. I first thought I was one of the "???". I do believe you have it XDragRacer. Good job!

It is hard to see some of the text. Can you do this in another color?

Ah, it is easier to see when I downloaded and rotated the photo instead of cocking my head to the left

Gotta say:
Old Salem Restaurant => two thumbs up....They did a great job and were very nice folks.
The restaurant has a good menu, layout and parking for our kind of group.
Thank you to them for hosting us.

JJ is between muffymonster and USMC6. I'm to the right of motocox. Although, JJ still can't figure out his screen name!

The woman on the right waited on our table. She offered separate checks without being asked and did a great job of taking care of the table. They seemed totally unflustered by a full house.

Richmond IDs

I've sent a note to the Richmond contingent requesting proper identification.
Based upon the inmates in attendance, they may choose to remain unidentified.

If we can fill in the missing names, forward a copy to me,
I might have a way to print a BIG version of this photo.
Dan might be able to wrap the entire house!!!!
(a great way to impress the new neighbors)

Ed
