Sounds like a good rally point. That's the westbound side right?

They probably don't allow XR's either...

It hasn't been a problem as long as I come in from the back.......the proprietors see it as kind of a showing of ethnic acceptance by letting me park by the dumpster. The security guy likes it when I go there. The BMW riders tip him to keep an eye on their bikes as long as my KLR is visible.

Yeah--that's right. The westbound rest area, 1000. Better set my alarm clock . . . . . .

That gives us an hour and a half--we can wander through horse country en route Flint Hill.

Still a little early to push my luck on the elbow. Stitches come out Friday, but there is still some numbness/soreness. Rest now, ride later.

Catch you on #2 or #3 maybe. Have fun!!

I wasn't really planning on having one this weekend until everyone said they were free...
There will be more!

Who has weekdays off, and if so, which days?

i may just roll by this Sat as its a nice area for riding, love Hume and fodderstock and crest hill roads makes for a nice loop. Here's a few shots from the area from past yearsearly spring just after getting the IT

love old houses (some may even recognise these places !)

and esp. ones where they couldn't seem to decide what to build it with so....

and reflections

and garden gates

I get every other Friday off at my current job, and often spend the day riding westward into WV on a nice little 2-300 mile loop, least till I get so fed up with corp bull that I quit!

I'm headed by Griffin Tavern in a few minutes. I'm going to stop in and confirm the opening time and that they can accommodate 10-15 people right off the bat Saturday.

I'm in bitches! This will be my first riding "event" since unceremoniously breaking multiple bones in Middleburg. I'll be the overly cautious and slow moving fat fuck on three wheels. See you there.

I like Crest Hill Rd. - it's a fun back road with lots of variability, not only that but it will take you directly to Flint Hill.

When I first read it, I was like 'what is this place?'
Then I found it on the map and realized I've been through there a number of times!

Probably won't make it to this one... hoping to be dirt riding in the no-longer-icy forest roads

Thank you.
I won't be there but I have quite a collection of GenI KLR650 parts. Let me know what you need.
