One thing though, bring lots of cash. Griffin Tavern ain't cheap! I knew that when I made these arrangements and had never been before so I said WTH and decided I'd give it a shot. I'll try (almost) anything once.

Banshee likes Griffins tavern. I am going to plug El Paso in Elkton. The best burrito carnitas I have ever eaten and sat is dollar tacos. Tent space can be had down the road if needed.

Sorry! My apologies; I don't go there often, consider it kind of a treat. That and I enjoy watching all the Harley folks getting in and out of the gravel MC parking in back . . . . .

Since this Saturday won't be quite as warm ("only" in the 50's . . ) it'll be interesting to see how many of those folks drift by.

I knew they weren't the best bargain in town when I agreed to your suggestion and I'd rather put the extra cash in the tank but it should be OK. I'll just order a coke. One of the factors in deciding was the good roads close by.
I would rather not do that a lot and I just wanted to give the other who plan on attending a heads up so they don't have a coronary when the see the prices. The menus are on their website to give folks an idea of what to expect.
OTOH, if we have a mass exodus because of this I may have to change venues.

So to everyone else who plans on attending what do you think? Is it a go?

I thought you would have appreciated the Cat Herder like organizational skills.

I can update the first post but since this will hopefully be an ongoing occurrence, the faces will change here and there and I'll probably be working weekends again sometime in May I figured it may be better to just leave the date in the thread as they are confirmed. OTOH, it's my baby so I'll try to keep the first post updated a week or so in advance. I'm also getting rid of the "IN" list. It doesn't mean a thing at this point.
