I don't see anything on the calendar that should keep me away and the weather has been awesome. Put me down as strong maybe.

Put me down as a MAYBE. It all depends if I have a bike to ride come the 18th. Yeah, I know what you're saying...."Doesn't he have multiple bikes to choose from?"
Here's the skinny:

Bike #1, Versys- still ironing out things with the guy's insurance but we've finally settled on an amount that's acceptable to both parties, and now I just need to get a salvage title for the bike, and send it in to them to get my money. I also then need to contact the DMV to have the state police come out and inspect the bike to then get a rebuilt or repaired title so I can legaly ride it on the road again. All this of course is contingent on what the shop that I'm having look at the bike says on Monday; if all the damage is merely cosmetic then we proceed as outlined above, if there's major damage (forks, frame, motor mounts, swingarm, any of the above) then I let the guy's insurance take the bike and start looking for a replacement.

Bike #2, DRZ, currently still out in Nevada at my brother's place. I had a shipper lined up to pick it up this weekend and have it delivered the following weekend, but they backed out on me on Friday. Just this evening I got a new shipper that offered to deliver it, so I'll be calling them tomorrow and hopefully it will work out.

Bike #3, Electra Glide, Just took it in to the shop this weekend to get it serviced and give it a thorough look over since the bike has hardly been run at all in the past three years (yes, someone was supposed to run it once a month for me but that didn't exactly happen). As long as they don't find any major problems with the bike, this one should be available for the RTE.

Buy me a plane ticket and I'll ride the DRZ back here for you!

No worries. There will be others.

For next year though, just to let you know, the ICE Rally is usually the third weekend in Feb, same as the Thon (PSU dance marathon).

Your welcome! I was planning on doing this eventually but it was you, and a few other inmates that got me take the plunge!

So, thank you too!

I can put the Ice Rally on the Google calendar and make it recurring. Would that help?

Thanks Bob. The accident in 02 did a lot of damage that finally caught up and had to be fixed. This should be the end of it.

Heal fast and well Mike! Putting the Ice Rally on the calender might be a good idea. Now all I have to do is remember to look at it.

Can't hurt. At least it will be a good ballpark.
