I would rather not do that a lot and I just wanted to give the other who plan on attending a heads up so they don't have a coronary when the see the prices. The menus are on their website to give folks an idea of what to expect.
OTOH, if we have a mass exodus because of this I may have to change venues.

The lunch menu prices don't seem all that bad to me.

Sounds good. Folks concerned about price etc, another common meeting spot (and first place we met bwalsh) is High on the Hog BBQ in Sperryville. Great deal and outdoor seating by the creek makes it real easy.

BW, I've going to throw another name in the pot for a future get-together: The Cork Street Tavern in Winchester. COG rides have wound up there on several occasions and we really enjoyed it. Food and service were very good the times we were there.

One thing though, bring lots of cash. Griffin Tavern ain't cheap! I knew that when I made these arrangements and had never been before so I said WTH and decided I'd give it a shot. I'll try (almost) anything once.

In the future we should look for places with a little less "atmosphere" if you know what I mean. There's a reason I ride an XRL...

Being able to throw money around like there ain't no tomorrow is why I've been bustin ass for the past 40 years! course if there are too many tomorrows I may regret this...... but WTF...

And speaking of good eats, the new place in Nokesville right by the tracks called the Chuckwagon has some good eats and tons of space, three large rooms and made to order omelet chef and nice all you can spread on weekends. The local BMW club started having a monthly meet there, real nice place and friendly owner.

No, not 205. Even if it was, no need to apologize. I've only been in there once, many, many years ago. Good option for keeping it in the Northwestern part of the state!

Just get off 66 at Marshall and take Crest hill rd. to the end in Flint Hill. Turn right, the restaurant is on the left. Or meet up with the gang meeting at the rest area pulling out at 10:00. Get a little ride in to work up an appetite!
