Suzuki TS 125 engine rebuild issue

I split the cases on this motor and replaced all seals. Reassembly went fine, but when I put engine oil in the crankcase, oil started dripping out around the inside diameter of the seal by the countershaft.

I know I have the correct seal…any insight? Thanks.

There should be a sleeve and an o-ring that slip over the shaft. that sleeve is what makes contact with the seal.

Items 33 and 36 here:

Wow! That is one mighty small O ring…found it on the bench. Will replace with new…many, many thanks, Andy!

Another question…the two clutch actuation rods…same length…or not? In my boxes of parts, I can only find two rods, which is puzzling, because the boxes contained two engines. Anyhow, they are the same length, but an ebay ad for these items makes them look of different lengths.

My Stinger states the same thing and two part numbers. I have three engines and all the rods look to be the same length.

I think you're right. Another ebay ad shows them to be of identical length. I think I have them…thanks.
