The aluminum trim that was used to hold the weatherseal around the opening is currently rivited in place .... since it is clear you can weld aluminum why not weld this trim on ? or use some kind of industrial adhesive ?

If i could work metal as good as this I would never buy another damn $200-$1000 part. Very good work. Now go out and find a market for them. Make a good strong and light mount and customers will find you. Plenty of BMW GS and Aral in Europe.

Yes i can tell u,and i hope u undestand because my englis.....
step by step

the version that you object, but is cracked or broken
recover the original track and finishes up to perfection
Spread piece floor wax
then over it fits Fiberglass
If the piece has opposite angles are separate plans
finished cured mold
this subject will mold you pour the above steps again
if you do not have to do the subject of any material matter you just want to have the perfect shape of your choice
I'll put some pictures of the steps above
I hope you do not understand something ....
This is a mold rebuilt original copy of an object to plans to separate

molded fiberglass

finished product

ot take a look at photobucket.com lauramarginean1980's album

double headlight Fairing

You could probably make and sell a few copies of that double headlight fairing you've got there, what is it for?
