Man what an interesting story! Glad you got the scoot back unharmed!
![]() Little piece of shit should be hung. ![]() Looks like you had a nice ride. And beautiful Shadow by the way! I can't wait to ride the Dragon! I'm doing an 8,000+ mile ride next summer on my 85 Shadow 700. I plan on doing riding through lots of states and visiting family and seeing lots of beautiful places along the way. Then I'll ride to Key West and spend a few days down there. After that I'll ride up to Deals gap and spend a day or two riding the Dragon. After that I will probably ride Blue ridge Parkway and spend the night. Then I'll ride to Portmouth OH as I have family there and I like the area. Probably spend a week or so there. After that I'll ride to Sturgis [During the Rally]. Then do a little riding, and take a fun route home. I keep adding destinations to the Milage will probably be pretty damn high. But I am already excited as hell for this ride! Obviously not gonna happen on the Scoot though! Although I imagine some of those "TRUE" riders would probably make me look like nothing and do it on their 50 cc Scooter. I'll definitly post a RR on this one. Can't wait though!

Thanks for the compliments on the Shadow. It has about 35k on it and has never given me any trouble.

Special Passenger
So my son is spending the night at Grandma's house. He called and said that he wanted his giant Sock Monkey.
![]() So I jumped on the Zuma and took the Monkey for a ride. It was dark, but I bet that I got some strange looks. ![]() ![]()

I may have to strap it to my back so that the
Monkey looks like he is the passenger and go for a daytime ride just to see what kind of looks I get. |

thanks for the laughIt would be cool if you could attach his hands to your shoulders so he was flying along behind you like he was barely holding on. PS: you're a good dad!

Yea thats a nice one! I just finished restoring my 85 700, painted it a nice red. Man I've got to say I love it! Reliable as hell and has a cool sound and Cruiser feel and style.

I have had it for close to 6 years now. I am really getting the itch to sell it and get something else.

Just in case anyone is interested, the flat floor of the Zuma makes a great place to transport a large bag of Cat food.

I don't remember which thread it was but somebody had a pic of them carrying a bag of cement on their scoot. I thought that was pretty cool.

Does the Zuma 125 have locking handle bars?
