I just received my sample pack. Thank you.

I put the earplugs case in my pocket to warm them up. This way they were much easier to mold into my ears.. I used them to sleep and found the silence eerie. I think I will use these for riding once riding season gets under way, I will give you more feedback on their noise blocking performance.

Comfort wise, switching from Hearos foam earplugs to these, it's a different sensation. With foam earplugs, you need to insert them in your ear canal, these putty earplugs, you basically mold them and push them into the opening of the ear canal. After an 8 hour sleep, there were no issues of discomfort and because I couldn't hear the pouring rain over night, I slept soundly.

Thanks for the great service and product.

Curious - what country are the materials sourced from, and where are they made?

Thanks,

Bottom line up front (BLUF): These plugs are more comfortable than my favorite foamies (Leight Max) -- but they don't provide the same level of attenuation.

Nonetheless, I slept soundly in my usual spot (4ft away from a 12,000BTU window AC unit). I can barely hear the AC through a fresh pair of foamies. The attenuation of these moldable plugs is similar to a 2-4 month old pair used nightly or my flange-type Etymotic ER-6i earpieces. Frankly, when the attenuation of my used foamies reaches a point similar to what the moldables provide, I break open a fresh pack. However, I sometimes awaken to a bit of discomfort to where it's a relief to get 'em out (very tolerable, though). Not this morning with the "mighty plugs"....

This is a good product. Biggest advantage I see is longer-term comfort, but better attenuation can be had much cheaper.

Noise attenuation

^Guano11, I wonder if you actually created a proper seal with these plugs... could it be that the plugs were not warm enough to mold and subsequently create the seal?

Wold'sBestEarPlugs, I ordered and got the case sample. I was hoping though for a "tougher" case... I second the opinion that the case is too much of light-duty. Good for anything but not for carying it in a jacket pocket along with other stuff. Would be nice if you guys can come up with a case that doesn't rely on these hinges...

Ko, I'm confident I created a good seal. At first I, too, was suspicious I wasn't doing it right, but confirmed that when I pulled the plugs out, the seals audibly "broke" -- thus confirming a good seal in the first place. I made an extra effort to warm up the plugs and fill the ear canal, too.

Yes after I called them I checked the email & it was listed priority! BUT I DIDN'T CLICK THE PRIORITY TAB PERIOD!
I didn't check the email because I knew it was coming through USPS & couldn't track it, for that matter I didn't even care exactly when it came!

Totally agree - come up with a case with ROUND edges so I can slip it into any pocket. Something like a large contact lens case.

I would like to make a few comments.
Good service and fast shipping to Canada.

These plugs remind me of play dough. Please note they stick to hair and are difficult to remove cleanly if you have a lot of ear hair.

I obviously pushed them into my ears too firmly. So much so that one plug broke up on removal into smaller pieces. I need to see my doctor to remove a piece that has pushed too far into the ear canal to remove with Q-tip, more aggressive instruments etc.

But it is very quiet
