I'm around 6' and 200# and a 36 pant and XL jacket fit fine. The pants may be a tad loose, which is OK since it leaves room for layering, but they are heavy enough that I'm getting suspenders.

If you didn't know---I didn't-------------------the badlands pants have built in suspender loops inside the belt line. It' takes a special suspender with plastic loops on the end, which I found easily. 3 point mounting instead of 4---------I saw those loops in there but didn't have a clue what they were for--------------really nice for those who like to wear suspenders. Theres one loop in the rear---and the other 2 are 120 apart----------works perfect.

So you don't need to buy suspenders with those goofy big steel clamps with the teeth in them.

You can eat more bacon at breakfast, lunch, and dinner without having belt issues for the rest of your ride.

When I said I'm getting suspenders I meant I'd already ordered the Klim ones. :)

Yeah, I'm thinking that's not gonna happen. I think I'm just going to have to dust off one of the credit cards.

Keep an eye out on the FM. I picked up my jacket for $650 and it was almost brand new. I've seen a couple XL jackets for sale there lately. There's also a dealer on eBay selling the pants and jackets for $150 less than MSRP.

Can you post the eBay sellers name? That's a great price.

Thanks for the heads-up HT. I'll keep my eye out on the FM if I don't find something on flea bay first.

If you call Mike at Tellico Moto (Tellico Plains, Tennessee) he will give you a good deal on the Klim stuff. It's where I purchased my Badlands. And shipping is a flat $7.

Question about the jacket. Purchased mine "used", came in great condition and really happy with it so far, but are there different versions of the Klim Badlands Pro? Reason I ask is because my jacket only came with the larger honeycomb armor piece (left side, the one that covers your sternum) but no piece on the right side. Assuming this piece is missing from my jacket.. All the other pieces are there (back piece, shoulder/elbow pads, kidney belt).

Sounds like its missing. The pre-production reviews even mentioned 2 chest protectors. The right side is kind of hidden behind the pockets and isn't as noticeable as the left side.

You should have armor on both elbows, both shoulders, a large back protector, and two chest pieces. The armor on the right chest is smaller than the armor for the left, which overlaps (underlaps?) the front zipper to cover your sternum.
