any thoughts on the venting? It appears to have better venting than the Adventure jacket.. which would be nice.

The jacket has two vents per sleeve, under arm (pit) vents and exhaust vents in the back. I am sure i left one or two out. Venting will not be an issue.

They also added some chest armor. Those are the 2 selling points for me. This would be considered one of the less expensive Armacor based jackets on the market as well. Hard to tell, but looks like the entire back may be Armacor. Looking good so far. And, the venting looks to be excellent. |

Yeah, chest padding is a great feature.
Wonder if the armor is larger than the ADV's? Venting looks much better and the jacket it probably a little lighter..... the black one looks like a winner to me.

Apparently the elbow pockets are bigger to adjust. That will help with putting better armor in.

Been eyeing the Badlands Pro jacket and Latitude pants as replacements for my Rallye Pro 2 suit. You're almost exactly the same size I am so I'll be ordering a large jacket. Just gotta work out the pant size. Really looking forward to not having to deal with a damn liner when it rains. Thanks for the pics and Q&A.

Greetings,
Can someone confirm if this jacket is Leatt brace compatible? Since buying the brace last year, I can't bring myself to ride off-road without it. ktm950se |

Well its been a fun 6 months waiting, but we can finally make the video reviews for the New Klim Badlands Pro Jacket and Badlands Pro Pants live again. The other almost 20 new Klim products are all also live, most with video. All questions welcome. Anthony

Webbikeworld reviews
Jacket: http://www.webbikeworld.com/klim-bad...pro-jacket.htm
Pants: http://www.webbikeworld.com/klim-bad...-pro-pants.htm Mostly positive. Hopefully, some of the "Pans" (mostly about neck, cuff closures) are addressed for production.

Marketing 1 : Vertebrae 0
OK, assuming marketing did its homework and decided there were more people who didn't want Leatt compatibility than those who did, and they stood to make a bigger profit by having a standard collar, I can live with. Business is business.
Otherwise, it looks really, really good and I will be placing my order sooner rather than later. The only thing I can find that peaves me a little is that they cut the leather on the inside of the legs short. I wish they had made it like the Dakar and the Traverse (full length). Seems a little like nickel and diming to me and while no deal breaker, is a bit out of place on a pretty pricey piece of gear. My biggest decision will now be black or grey.
