Ed- I have a bunch of thin, neoprene kayak outfitting foam as well as contact cement if that Shorai foam isn't tough enough.

Thanks J.. I'll give the Shorai foam a try and if it doesn't work I'll give you a shout.

If I can get my 950 rolling are you up for some time @ IMI?

Yessir- only problem is I'm on call this weekend so I wouldn't be able to until possibly next week sometime. Give me a jingle when you're up for it. If you need any foam and want to swing by Denver this weekend I'll be here twiddling my thumbs waiting for the pager to go off.

Craftsman/Sears. I don't use it enough to warrant the extra money for a snapon...

Spent two hours cleaning the garage so I could focus on the 950.

Did a bit of this...

to make this (still kicking myself for just not buying a pre-made one from CJDesigns)...

which required the cutting of this...

so I could have the clearance of this

then I went to do this....

but realized I still haven't done this...

...so I can't start the bike because the ignition key is on the bench on the old top clamp instead of on the bike.

Did I mention its 80 degrees here again today and I should be riding?

I do have an electrical tape bandage on my thumb from trimming my 500's license plate to better fit.
I probably need a tetanus shot

How hard is it to steal an LC8?

One phillips screw driver; remove two screws... remove the bottom half of the ignition key ... rotate the internal tumbler to on.

...cuz the engine's running in the photo

I had to go for a booger around the neighborhood.. I slapped things back together (you know the routine.. just the corners of the airbox.. 2 bolts for the glove box.. just the top bolts for the fuel tanks.. slide the headlight in and

Holy heck does it feel different.

I can't come anywhere near touching the ground.. if one foot is down the other foot is 8 inches in the air (I wonder how much the suspension will pack down?) The geometry with the 20mm offset and the 4 inch risers is also completely different feeling. I think I might remove the damper and get to know the feeling and then reapply it afterward...

I have to take it apart and finish a bunch of things.. but at least I got a few minutes on her this evening.

Gotta like syncing the cylinders with this thing.. super easy.

Stick it in the front hole... note the number

Stick it in the back hole.. make sure its the same number

Try it at different RPMs
