The Xchallenge is going the rally bike route: I put on the big tank now, TT subframe comes next, and then the rally fairing from HotRodWelding as funds permit.

***SOLD***

Want to impress your friends at Starbucks or the local ADV watering hole without actually risking life and limb to give your bike that "adventured patina" look? Buy some pre-adventured tires!

This fine specimen is a set of Kenda K784 Big Block tires, often mistaken for the much more expensive (by about $150) and longer lasting (by about 2.3 miles) Continental TKC80 tires.

First up, we have the front tire. Coming in right at 110/80-19, this bad boy is sized to fit the front wheel of your V-strom, Super Tenere, R1200GS (but not the water-cooled models), or even an old Caponord.

Another view of the front tire clearly shows the cupping and uneven wear that's the hallmark of a well-adventured traveling machine! After all, on a real adventure, who has time to constantly air up and down depending in the terrain? Set it and forget it (at 21psi)!

The meaty rear tire, coming in at a hefty yet svelte 150/70-17, is also fit for most of the most popular soft-roaders. But don't let those macho looks fool you, this tire also sticks like velcro to pavement so the three-quarter mile trek from your house in the suburbs to the neighborhood caffeine den will be as surefooted as ever. Wet pavement traction is a lot like, well, wet velcro on asphalt, but who rides in the rain anyways? You can take your Land Cruiser instead.

Another view of the mighty, meaty gravel shovel shows the impressive wear sustained—nearly 3000 miles' worth! (That's a lifetime of coffee runs.) Impress your cohort by weaving tales of intrigue and mystery about your wanderlust-fueled walkabout traversing the western deserts.

All of this can be yours—only yours—for the low, low, low price of just $1. Where else can you find so many miles for so little money? In between work, the kids, and the wife, who actually has time to ride? This is serious street cred like nothing else money can buy!

Seriously, though. I'm not sure who would want these, but I'm throwing it out here before the tires get recycled. There're probably about 500 miles of easy street riding left before these are completely toast. No punctures or patches; they hold air. And they're actually free if you come and pick them up from me in the north DFW suburbs. And no, they won't fit your KLR.

At least the dirt and wear on them are authentic—they performed great when I needed them to!

I figured that a free 500 miles of tire might appeal to some of those KLR riders who recently graduated to a V-strom.

Someone forgot to redeem their Harley wheel. Unsure what models it will fit. Tire is 150/80-16 (Dunlop HD). Some chrome is flaking off. $100

KLR Center Stand

Ok fellas, I have a center stand that I had bought for my KLR Gen 1 and never got around to putting it on the bike. I have all the mounting hardware included. I am wanting to get $100. I would prefer not to ship it if I can. Otherwise if shipped, I will have to find out how much and let you know. If you need pictures of it, let me know and I will snap some and send.

TuBliss and KTM wheels for sale in the Houston area

Advertised on the TON for local pick up only. Pics on the TON, descriptions below. Email or text is better than PM. Thanks!

Five hours on Maxxis Desert tires and Michelin Bibs (I paid $300 for the bibs alone). The wheels have been my spare set for a 2010 300XC. Brake rotors included, but no sprocket. These are used so don't come look at them for your showroom condition bike. No flat spots and they're straight, but they've had their share of tires on them.
281-nine.eight.nine-one.7.four.0
Local pick up near The Woodlands only.
$600

I have three sets of TuBliss (18 and 21) for sale. Two sets have a brand new front and good rear. The third set is used but comes with new bladders.
$100 each. I will not ship. Available in The Woodlands area. Text or email only please.
These things are awesome. Get ready for 7 psi in the Sam Houston, and you won't believe how much better the roots feel.

another tire

Another tire, this one with about 50% life remaining. Pirelli Scorpion Trail, 110/80-R19 front tire. Despite the name, it's a street tire. Holds air, no funny wear, will fit the front of a Vstrom, Stelvio, roadie Tiger 800, various GSes, anything that has a 19" front hoop.

$40, pickup only in the DFW area

I punctured the rear and have a new set of Mitas tires to go on, but this tire has enough life left in it that it'd be a waste to just toss it.

05 r12gs,136k miles salvage title, totalled, currently unrideable

Up for grabs is my r1200gs, best bike I've ever owned. It is just over 10 years old and i am the original owner. Had a slight incident witha mini-van this last june chronicled here

I'll get to the wreck damage in a minute, before that, the RID was getting flaky and doesn't come on at all but did function occasionally. speedo, tach and low fuel indicators are still functional. Also, the gear position indicator (when visible) isn't very accurate. Other than that, a very minor dent in the front wheel is difficult to see but there. Windshield isn't broken but is sun damaged

The biggest issue with it now is severely bent front discs from the wreck which make it unrideable, though I've ridden it from the tow yard and to the dealer by avoiding the front brake.. New galfer discs and pads are on hand. ABS appears functional, starts and runs fine and burns little if any oil. I've used mobil 1 since 10k miles. No leaks, tourance tires are about 20% used in front and maybe 50% in the rear.

Front beak and extender are shattered, and looks are deceiving but the front subframe is bent pretty good, making it appear that the steering is a degree or so off, but the forks turn easily without binding, and I don't see any obvious damage to forks or swingarm. Exhaust has some minor dents as well.
Battery replaced earlier this year.

Oil cooler has a mark and is pointing back somewhat, but doesn't leak.

Comes with a functional set of sun damaged vario cases slightly pancaked and an extra set that are in worse shape from an earlier get off that perhaps can be combined to make into a dent free set. Will include some extra seats that have tears that can be redone by the seat mfg of choice. Driveshaft replaced at 108k miles, clutch and input shaft splines at 52k miles. Has ohlins shocks and kaoko throttle lock. Also has SS fuel QD's.

I have the blue title, but was advised by the ins. co. that a salvage title will be issued, I'm not sure if that happens when the title is transferred, but I don't have the salvage title. Registration and Inspection sticker are out but can be renewed.

Spare transmission and Jesse 65L top case with tool box are available separately.

$5000 obo
