Thanks for the RR. Makes me think I should get over that way.

The bunny slopes are right next to those farily easy trails - the valleys on either side of the ridges are just as fun without the risk, but the risk is what makes the fun sometimes - I taught my daughter to ride all through out those mud ridges, would always put a smile on her face. There's some killer jumps and high banks turns everywhere in that area. Just be careful and watch out for head-ons while riding in the valleys

Great photos really captures the place well.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I do love to ride and I like takin' pictures.

I don't have much more to say about the ride but I've got a few more pics.

That's all folks.

That sounds like a good idea. I am sure Mil is ready to get out of the snow and rain he has been getting for a while.

i was just watching an old FuelTv special (The Great Ride Open, on iTunes) where one of the episodes was shot at Ocotillo. the episode was focused on outlandish MX jumping, but they touched on free riding some of the same single track that you rode (including that incredibly steep drop off)

it's great to see someone "real" riding that same terrain. (not that the pro riders aren't real... just that they're kinda on another plain than us ADV-folk.)

looks like you're really enjoying the new BETA - it might be time to update your avatar pic. thanks for the awesome pics!

Those pics are awesome!! It's only 300 miles from Phoenix! I don't suppose it's a summer friendly place?

Only between 4am and around 11am. Maybe even later as long as you keep moving and nothing bad happens.
