That's about a 9.9 on the suck-o-meter.

I sure hope they can work a deal out with the present or future land owners to keep the place open.

Sad news for motorcycling, that place was an institution. Had many a fun time there.

TWO can never be replaced. There are many other motorcycle resorts that have sprung up as a result of TWO, but none of them have the unique character of TWO. I have so many great memories there from the last 20 years. I'm sure many of you do too. I have started a thread in Pics, pics, pics for TWO pics. TWO will never be forgotten but having some pics would be nice too.

What a shame. I hope they can work something out. Good Luck and thanks for the good times GT and Britt.

Damn, this makes me sad. I have grown to love TWO, it is the total antithesis to the madhouse that is now Deal's Gap. I hope that something can be worked out, but it doesn't look too good.

Eh?

Wow...I really did love that place and the nostalgic feel it had.
What are the owners going to do with it?

Hate to hear this.

Going to need a new home for Trailer Trash.

Exactly, Chris. I loved to sit out on the porch at TWO, tasty burger in front of me - sunshine, breeze, peace and quiet. It was one of my "zen places." I love Brad and DGMR, of course, but it's a totally different ballgame there.

two

it says they will close in march. I thought they were closed for winter break now. maybe it is still some time to go sit on that porch with a burger one more time. I bet that will be a good burger one to remember when I am older and talk about all the riding I did. I also remember all the money they helped raised for the fire station over all these years. good people. now they need 1.4 M . who will help them?

Fond memories

A late night arrival. New bike and he didn't plan on not making it home in time for dinner.

Hey ya'll.

Wow. I just heard this today as well. Sucks. :-(

----------------------------------------------------------

I must tell you of another campground that is very motorcycle friendly as an option. I have been going there for years and actually found it on a dual sport ride where I popped out into this campground.

They are not motorcycle only, but the owner is a rider and they are motorcycle friendly and have a killer campground.

The place is "Etowah River Campground." Very near TWO.

Owners are Jaki and Daryl. Tell them Vance sent you.

http://www.etowahrivercampground.com/

I started a separate thread as not to hijack this one.
