Question what is this?

Wondering what clips into this plug behind the headlight?

edit: this is a 2004 950A

Sorry, I wrote down the colors of the wires before I closed everything up, now I can't find the note. I don't have a shop manual so I can't just look this up myself. I doesn't seem to be bothering anything, it was tucked way up behind the instruments. I dug it out looking for ACC1 and ACC2, before realizing I was looking on the wrong side of the headlight.

another angle:

Not urgent. Just wondering... Thanks!

Without confirming or pulling my screen off it looks like the plug for the tripmaster - that controls the trip functions from the handle bars.

No see'um.

But IIRC, there is a wire back there that doesn't go to anything. Maybe an extra ACC connection? Roadbook hookup?

Edit: Pete got me while I was trying to find it.

Was this the Tripmaster Plug?

Just curious if we ever confirmed this. I noticed the same unused wire behind my headlamp yesterday, and I also recently ordered the tripmaster switch -- it'll be nice if installation is as simple as plugging into this connector. Thanks.

I have a tripmaster switch from an 03 EXC that I'd like to use on my 05.5 Adv, but after digging around behind my headlight, I can find no plugin to match it. Is this plug a hit or miss item depending on the year of the bike?

If the other two wire are green/red and yellow/brow than in fact it is a trip-master or as KTM likes to call it ... handlebar switch for multi function digital speedometer
