Looks good so far......
Have you a plan to address the cooling issue?
I seem to have the fan running all the time once i have left tarred roads..... how are you finding it?

Timpo.

I have a version of the bracket to kinda cover all the bits I wanted. I will try to make it better, may get you over some time for some advice ... doing little bits of work due to lack of time though, so slow progress

Hi Mate, seen your bike and looks impressive. Haven't done anything yet, had the idea of cutting the fender using the pattern of the original fender, but only if I could see it was a problem. I haven't had the chance to leave tarred roads yet other than very mild gravel so couldn't tell if it is real problem.

My current riding consists on 99% commuting and doing that had never had the fan starting ...

More pics of bracket and mounts

Some more pics

1. Bracket without the fairing - draft 1

Upgrade for easy maintenance to use self lock nuts (or whatever right name is for this)

Again side mounts this time with self lock

This is new addition to the bracket, instead of holding it from the lights, I added piece of metal to hold it. It needs more work to be perfectly centered

here we can see its not 100% there yet

Looking from above

And again front view

Position light bullets

Trying to get bit more visibility provided this wasn't expensive I had this previously installed.

More details on the light: http://www.webbikeworld.com/lights/bikevis-led-lights/
All together again

The holder

Closer look

The other bracket, to support fairing

Nice. Still tempted to put the 46mm usd's on my TT350.
I know it'll look cool but how much better can a set of cartridge forks with compression and rebound adjustment and a bigger brake disc work than some state of the art damper rod 41's from '85.

Found this nice PDF on how to disassemble WP forks but I guess it applies to all USD forks.

Beatiful

I saw your bike in town recently. the new faring looks great. I used to walk past your bike every day and when replacing my R1200GS I had a good look at your bike. I spoke to you about the bike and how you got on with adventure touring. You helped me with my decision to get the Xch.
You were absolutely right. It was a sound decision. I love the bike.
Thanks!

Hi thanks, yeah I remember talking to you ... haven't seen your bike around though

I'm trying to get some more stuff done, hope to get the forks done on incoming weeks ... and also finish the painting work, and also finish the mounting to allow the original light on ...

Cheers,
PampaX
