I fixed mine with origonal bits and an LED globe but I dont believe the paint shaker motor will ever let the globe and socket work for long.

ive just noticed i have no tail or brakelight on my 06 625sxc. how does the socket that holds the bulb come out??? i have taken the rubber cover off and tried turning the socket to remove it from the taillight assembly but it hardly moves .... dont want to try and force it just yet
i assume it just turns anticlockwise and then comes out. maybe i just need stronger fingers. any ideas???? |

How about less plastic instead. Can you figure out what's missing on my old horse? ![]() bill

Looks quite good Bill, hows the back of your legs do when it gets a bit mucky?
Think some rallye pipes would really set it off though |

Yep, the side panels. Looks cleaner for sure.
Had thought about some carbon fiber bodywork. Then I priced it, and remembered how and where I ride I have not had the problems that many experienced with the tail light on my bike. Think I have replaced the bulb 2-3 times in the last 9 years. |

Guys,
Mud's not an issue, mostly it gets up in the fender but my machine is lowered, probably that helps. As for that fucking little taillight, I have done a bunch of bulbs over the years. Every so often I bend the piss out of the contacts inside the socket. I added these. http://hyperlites.com/stdsf.html bill
